This hike takes in the Murbach valley and the ruins of Hohrupf castle.
This hike can be described as family-oriented... but more for families who want to do a bit of sport. It's a short hike, but the difference in altitude is relatively significant given the distance. The route through beautiful forests takes in the famous Murbach abbey, the Notre-Dame de Lorette chapel, the Schrangen pass, the ruins of the former Hohrupf castle and the Wolfsgrube pass. Tables and benches are available at several points along the route
