CIRCUIT POUSSETTE DE RAMONCHAMP

3.2 km loop circuit. Duration: 1h40. Start: Ramonchamp town hall. A trail that takes in the pretty village of Ramonchamp and the banks of the Moselle. 1. From the Town Hall forecourt, take the road on the right between the Post Office and the church. 2. Then walk along the cemetery. Follow the road to the right between the war memorial and the cemetery. 3. Go straight on until you reach the Voie Verte, which you turn left onto. Continue straight ahead. 4. after 200 m, you may see some chickens on your left. 5. You will then come to a tarmac road, which you should follow to your left. Immediately take the 2nd street on the right, "Rang du Moulin". 6. Keep right at the bottom of the slope. You'll pass a working-class housing estate on your right. 7. You'll pass over a canal, where you'll probably be able to see small ducks splashing about in the water. On the right, you'll see a henhouse full of geese. 8. 50 meters further on, on the right, you'll see the former Tissages de l'Est factory with its clearly visible chimney. Today, it houses commercial units. 9. The road bends slightly to the left and leads to a blue bridge over the Moselle. Go straight on after the bridge. 10. Leave "rue du Vieux Moulin" just before Route Nationale 66 and turn left into "rue des Breuches". This pleasant street is lined with a number of houses that are in bloom in fine weather. 11. Keep following the main road. There's a little bench on the right if you want to take a rest. Don't turn right into the cul-de-sac. 12. The road turns left at the garbage cans. You can see the church tower in the background. Go straight on without turning left. 13. At the STOP sign, turn left downhill towards the village center. You will see a bus shelter on your left, followed by a blue bridge. Go straight ahead, crossing the road "rue du Clos Martin". 14. You will pass the old campsite and 300 m further on, turn left into "rue des Champs de l?Epine" and follow the sign for the pedestrian bridge. 15. Go straight on towards the Moselle (impasse). The path runs alongside the river, where ducks can be seen. Cross the footbridge and turn left (before crossing the footbridge, a picnic table is on your left). 16. You'll then come to the large play area known as "Les berges de la Moselle", with games for all ages (fitness area for adults, petanque pitch, children's play area and city park). A very pleasant waterside site with picnic tables in a bucolic setting. To get to the town hall, just head straight ahead along the road towards the church.
