FESTIVITIES > MAY 25 TO JUNE 8 From May 25 to June 8, 2024, l?Éventail celebrates its 40th anniversary: a final whimsical, marvelous and burlesque celebration! Based in Sablé for 24 years, this emblematic company has toured the world with its shows: Hong-Kong, Montreal, Drottningholm, Mexico City, Versailles, Tourcoing, Biarritz? With her choreographer Marie-Geneviève Massé, she greets the Sababol audience with a final round of wrists. Like the fairy Alcine on her enchanted island, enjoy two weeks of festivities, full of surprises as only the Baroque can create. On the program: parade, exhibition, baroque snacks and cocktails, costume ball, humorous lecture, baroque caravan, artistic workshops, show screenings, interviews, rounded off on stage by the company?s unmissable latest creation. Supporting creation We felt it was important to support this legendary company, based in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, in its final year. Festiventail will close our 23-24 season with a unique creation, co-produced by L?Entracte, by choreographer Marie-Geneviève Massé and the talented artists she has brought together for the occasion.
