Marked trail N°21. A very pretty route for a short family hike, passing in front of the Puisaye cathedral. Discover the Vrille at the very beginning of its course, fording a small stone bridge (the springs are a few hundred meters away).
Departure from the Place du Champ de Foire, at the foot of the hiking trails sign, at the corner of Rue du Petit Pont and the cemetery. Parking lots and caravan park 80m away. (D/A) Go up Rue du Petit Pont towards the town center. After the bar, take the small lane on the right (Rue du Moulin). Descend to the river La Vrille. (1) Cross the Vrille on the Pont des Canards bridge. Follow the wide left-hand path up to the ULM runway. Continue along this path. (2) At the entrance to the village of Les Gourleaux, turn left. Go downhill to reach the Croix Saint-Jean. Continue for 100m to cross the road (take care) and take the track opposite. (3)Cross the ford, keep left to reach Treigny, leaving the new cemetery on your right. Go down Rue du Couvent towards the church. (4) Turn right up Rue du Professeur Camille Lian. Church and youth hostel (L'Auberge) on your left. Cross in front of the town hall and walk down Rue du Petit Pont. Arrive at the parking lot (D/A).
