The Institut pour la Photographie is designed as a place for resources, dissemination, exchange and experimentation, with the aim of developing photographic culture among the general public and supporting research and creation. Its program is based on the complementarity and interactivity of five main axes: conservation, distribution, artistic and cultural transmission, support for research and creation, and publishing.
