Visit this medieval village, nestled in a meander of the Lot, once a major centre for the construction of "gabarres". These trade boats were used to sail as far as Aquitaine.
Description of the walk : From the village square parking lot, take the calade towards the Seigneuriale chapel. The chapel features 12th-century wrought-iron railings. After your visit, follow the chapel to the right and head for the village fountain, the only water source in the village. At the fountain, you can make a quick round trip (3min) to admire a lovely view of the village and its slate roofs. Alternatively, turn right to take the path below, which overlooks the houses and winds through old gardens. It takes you to the old threshing floor and to the edge of the castle walls with its 13th-century round tower (not open to visitors). Continue downhill between the houses to join the local road, which takes you back to the starting point on the right.
