This superb building is said to have been built by members of the family of Pierre-Paul Riquet, creator of the Canal du Midi. His Château is in Bonrepos-Riquet, and can be seen from the house (2.7km away). The exposed brickwork is also a charming reminder of local farmhouses. Outside, you'll enjoy the sunshine from your terrace, as well as from the swimming pool, where you can enjoy a book away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The gîte has 6 bedrooms, 9 single beds, 2 double beds, a bathroom, 4 shower rooms and 6 WCs: - Ground floor: entrance, kitchen (5 gas hobs), dining room, living room (DVD player, access to Netflix, Amazon, Canal+ and Disney+), games room (Playstation 1 and VHS player) and separate WC. - On the living room side, one bedroom (1 bed 140*190cm, 1 bed 90*190, desk, shower and WC) is accessible on the second floor, and another on the second floor (2 beds 80*200cm, can be twinned into 1 bed 160*200cm, desk and shower room/WC). - On the entrance side, a staircase leads directly to 2 bedrooms (2 beds 90*190cm, desk and TV)(1 bed 160*200cm, desk and 1 crib) and a bathroom with WC. The last 2 bedrooms (2 beds 90*190cm and shower room/WC)(2 beds 90*190cm and bench) and a shower room with WC are on the playroom side (TV and gym equipment). Underfloor heating on the first floor and convector heaters per room on the upper floors.
