DJECKO is a Comminges polyphonic group founded in 2019 by Daniel JANER and Jérôme CABANES, both former singers with Croupe ENCANTAT'S. The group is based in Labarthe Inard, a commune near Saint-Caudens. DJECKO is made up of 5 members, 2 female singers and 3 male singers from a variety of cultures and musical backgrounds, who share a common interest in polyphony. This musical style is best known for its magnificent Corsican and Basque songs, and is also part of Christian culture, as performed by parish choirs and "petits chanteurs".
