This is a vast beach of gravel and sand, regularly submerged and therefore sparsely vegetated. The site is home to a relatively large population of nesting Little Terns.
Despite its location in the middle of town and the risk of disturbance. This area, which has been occupied since at least 1997, has been under conservation management in conjunction with the town of Gien since 2001. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the town of Gien and its castle.
