11ÈME RANDONNÉE VTT ET PÉDESTRE

Start at 8am from the courtyard of the Abbey-School of Sorèze, near the footbridge linking the large Sorèze parking lot (next to the U Express) to the village center. 2 circuits are proposed for classic and electric-assist mountain bikes: 45 km (1,300 m D+). The route skirts the foothills of the Montagne Noire in the commune of St Amancet, then Dourgne, before climbing to the Capelette (maximum altitude 761 m), to reach and skirt the Cammazes dam, enjoy a 2nd refreshment point, before crossing the Sorèze ? Arfons road to reach the Causse de Sorèze and return to the Abbaye-Ecole, either via the technical path at the cemetery, or by road. 30 km (878 m D+). Up to La Capelette, where there will be a refreshment point common to both circuits, the 2nd course is identical to the main circuit, then it will reach Montalric (maximum altitude 816 meters), before passing through Grangevieille to descend to the Causse de Sorèze and return to the Abbaye-Ecole either by the technical path of the cemetery, or by road. Refreshments are available on the mountain bike circuits, and grilled meats and beer (or cola and fruit juice) are offered at the finish.
