Exposition : Monstres et Héros de cinéma

From February 24 to November 3, Galerie Saint-Jacques in Saint-Quentin hosts the exhibition Monstres et Héros du Cinéma. It's a veritable voyage through pieces from films made by such greats of the 7th Art as Besson, Cameron, Lucas, Spielberg? Costumes, models, sets, masks and mythical objects allow visitors to plunge into the ancestral mythology of the battle between good and evil. Explanatory labels explain the characteristics of the monsters and heroes, as well as the creative process of the costume designers, stylists, set designers and illustrators. In a sleek, futuristic universe, visitors will come face-to-face with iconic characters from some twenty films, including Star Wars, The 5th Element, Indiana Jones, Valérian, Alien, Arthur and the Minimoys? A game booklet and a mediation program are also on offer to give everyone the chance to develop artistic techniques ranging from the discovery of Art History, to robotics, video games and cinema professions (special effects, make-up, monster mask creation).
