Summer : come and enjoy the lake with its numerous beaches, water sports, cycling path, for nature lovers, hiking in the forest, the Outines ponds and its diversity. Autumn and winter: come and discover the spectacle offered by the cranes and wild geese that stay by the tens of thousands around the lake from October 15th to February 15th. The curious can visit the Abbey, the National Stud or even the Brewery of Montier-en-Der, the nearest town where you can find all the shops. You can also take advantage of our nature and our magnificent heritage by following the circuit of the timber-framed churches or by walking through the Regional Natural Park of the Forêt d'Orient. Then by joining the côte des Bars you will be able to discover the vineyards along the Champagne touristic road... as well as the memorial of Charles de Gaulle in Colombey-les-deux-Eglises and to fill up with strong sensations in Nigloland. And why not retrace Napoleon's route at the Brienne-le-Château museum and follow the waterways of our "Green Venice", the small village of Soulaines Dhuy. Our region is full of treasures, and our gite is ideally located to let you discover them.
