Situated south of the village, in a beautiful combe bordered by forests, the Chemins de Traverse site offers unusual accommodation in the form of 4 large nomad tents (6 m in diameter), fitted out and installed on wooden platforms.

Lulled by the hooting of owls and soothed by the tranquility of the setting, enjoy our tents, nestled in the heart of nature, in the Chemins de Traverse eco-domain. The environment is very natural: the Auberive forest is magnificent, with numerous paths and hiking trails, some of which will lead you to the Auberive nature cabins. The nearby stream and gorges of the Clavin provide a wonderful place to discover and get away from it all. All in the heart of the future national park of deciduous forests. At the entrance to the Chemins de Traverse site, the Maison Forestière de Charbonnière welcomes you and offers a small lounge with wifi for those who want to stay connected! If you're looking for a 100% nature weekend for two, a week with friends or family, or a place to stay the day before or after your hike... we can offer you this experience in one of our 4 nomad tents! Each one is comfortably furnished: 3 to 4 beds (with sheets and comforters), beechwood coffee table with stools, kitchen utensils with a small 2-burner gas stove, outdoor table with benches, deckchairs and a small wood-burning stove for cocooning evenings. Exterior description: 1 private outdoor kitchen area under canvas with 2-burner gas stove, complete crockery and cooking utensils. Storage lockers. 1 wooden table with benches. 1 hand-cart for transporting belongings. Large living areas around the tent, fire pit with barbecue facilities. Refrigerator in the forest house. Dry toilets and bathroom facilities are outside. A hand cart allows you to transport your belongings from your car parked at the edge of the site. 5 donkeys graze next to the tents, to the delight of young and old alike. They are waiting to accompany you on your walks and carry your belongings. The environmental management of the Chemins de Traverse eco-domain has been awarded the EUROPEAN ECOLABEL and the Esprit Parc National label. You will be asked to pay an annual membership fee upon arrival (10.76 ? per household). Chemins de Traverse is a project run by the Ligue de l'enseignement de Haute-Marne, a popular education association under the French law of 1901. As such, to benefit from the services offered by the association, users must pay their annual membership fee (1 fee per household).
