GITE LE FIER PAON

You'll be staying in a historic detached house with a beautiful dormer window, located in the courtyard of an old farmhouse dating from 1766, which was once used as a farmhand's dwelling. The house was later adapted by enlarging it and adding a kitchen and bathroom. In the original part, you can still find the beautiful fireplace where you can sit by the wood-burning stove. The house has been completely renovated and has two floors and an attic. There are 2 bedrooms with good beds that can be used separately if you wish. There is also a cot available. The house is finely furnished with both antique and modern elements. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove with oven, toaster, kettle, senseo and plenty of crockery. Above the kitchen is a mezzanine with 2 pretty leather armchairs and a bookcase with a small flat-screen TV with DVD player and Netflix option. There's also a mini stereo and, of course, WIFI. The gîte has its own terrace and garden. The rest of the site is also freely accessible and fruit can be picked (apples, pears, plums, cherries, walnuts, elderberries and redcurrants) if available.
