Painting exhibition by Denis Clavier
Painting Trained in graphic arts and visual communications, Denis Clavier turned to a professional artistic approach after twenty years as a computer graphics designer. The fruit of a cross between a representation of futuristic Africa and his own historical cultural references, his style is influenced by science fiction, comics, manga and street art. Using pictorial techniques, advertising graphics and material inlays, he brings out color and light, creating movement and strong contrasts. La Maison Bleue Municipal art gallery 38 rue des Halles 02 43 06 99 08 La Maison Bleue, the municipal art gallery, hosts temporary exhibitions dedicated to the visual arts throughout the year. Opening hours: Monday 10am-12pm, Wednesday-Thursday and Friday 3pm-6pm, Saturday 10am-12pm and 3pm-6pm, Sunday and public holidays 3pm-6pm. Free admission. Artist present the first weekend and the last day of the exhibition.
