For the three musicians, the tunes are a pretext for reappropriation and singular interpretation. Yoann Loustalot is a singular voice on the European trumpet scene, a prolific and original composer, and the founder of the "Bruit Chic" record label. He is renowned for his unique sound and fine melodic inventiveness. He has recorded over a dozen albums as leader or co-leader. He has also taken part in some forty recordings as a sideman, and regularly plays alongside other jazz personalities.
