EXPOSITION HÉLÈNE BRILLAUX

For this new exhibition, the Galerie Bitche & Art, welcomes Hélène Brillaux, plastic painter! Art for self-expression! Originally from Alsace, Hélène Brillaux has loved expressing herself through drawing from an early age. This need to share through art led her to study drawing and art history in Paris, where she took up acrylic painting, Indian ink and pottery. She also discovered porcelain and glass painting, which she has been practicing for the past 20 years. An artist in communion with nature! Hélène Brillaux combines contemporary art and nature in her work, which she regularly exhibits throughout the region (Reichshoffen, Saverne, La Petite Pierre, Bischwiller, etc.). Her inspiration comes mainly from observing nature, which she transcribes in her work. The diversity and richness of nature in the Northern Vosges is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her. Her constant need to create prompts her to collect plant and mineral elements on her walks, with which she composes whimsical characters. Representing by suggesting! Hélène Brillaux?s work is a constant search for techniques to capture and transpose the shapes and colors that nature has to offer. Her creativity and desire to explore lead her to use a variety of creative techniques: wax spraying, reliefs, gold and crackling allow her to give free rein to her imagination. She depicts nature while leaving an element of emptiness and mystery, to take the reader on a journey through their daydreams. On canvas, wax projections, drips and scrapes reveal a play of transparency.
