LE NOUVEAU PRINTEMPS

Date:

The Nouveau Printemps contemporary arts festival returns to the Carmes/Saint-Étienne district, one of Toulouse?s oldest neighborhoods, with its museums and public squares, its stores and gardens.

Each year, an artist is invited to take a look at a district of the city of Toulouse and to take an interest in its spaces. The festival has entrusted this second edition to filmmaker and author Alain Guiraudie. The festival brings together some twenty contemporary artists to plunge you, between lightness and anxiety, into the uncertainties of a fantasized future. Exhibitions, participatory projects, installations in public spaces, performances? like his films, the aim is to find beauty and poetry where you least expect it.
