Invited to take part in the round-table discussion on "Urban art to build cities" at the Rencontres Urbaines de Nancy 2022, Aleteïa discovered Nancy. Driven by her curiosity, she let herself be seduced by the city. An exhibition project was born, modestly named EGOTARIUM. Aleteïa set out to assault the museum form and attempt a general catastrophization of her relationship with the world. It's a question of artistic ego, with distance and irony, but above all of its difficult construction when you're a woman: how, against all odds, in the midst of patriarchy, do you become Aleteïa? But also about the ego of 21st-century human beings and their relationship with nature and contemporary history. As a counterpoint, the installation in the city of a site-specific work entitled "Le pèlerinage du turfu" (The Pilgrimage of Turf) will invite us to take a meditative, temporal journey into our common future. Finally, to take the ego out of the equation, the artist invites us to dance with color during a grand "Holi", a festival of pigments that will transform Vandoeuvre?s Espace Yves Coppens into a festive, collaborative stellar cluster.
