Cine-concert, by the "Annexions" Orchestra, for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sarrebourg on November 21, 1944. Adapted by Stanislas Cotton. A family confronted with the oppression of an evil neighbor. The scenario makes sense and echoes the war in the Middle East. However, the "Annexions" project initiated in 2022 aims to be timeless. It is "a fable for peace". It's an initiative by the Lycée Cormontaigne and the Lycée de la Communication in Metz, along with Polish and German schools, who have come up with this film-concert. As part of the Erasmus+ program, 120 students from Metz, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia shot the film in Ostrava, based on a script by playwright Stanislas Cotton. The orchestra will be made up of young musicians from all over Europe, including the Handel Gymnasium in Berlin, the LJO in Saarbrücken, conservatories in Metz, Dijon and Paris, as well as Teplice and Opava in the Czech Republic. After Berlin, Prague, Ostrava and Budapest, the show will be presented at the Arsenal in Metz and finally in Sarrebourg.
