Over 6 km from the Ferme-Auberge des Sept Fontaines, the trail follows the Wintzenbaechel stream to the Wintzenmuehle mill. The trail passes through a beautiful forest of centuries-old oaks.
From the Sept Fontaines farmhouse inn, a path runs alongside the stream that used to feed 7 mills, shut down in 1924 to supply the commune with water. On the way back, a wide dirt track leads through a beautiful oak forest, some of which are several hundred years old.
