in October 2020, when Feldup's crepuscular album "A Thousand Doors, Just One Key" was released, Libération ran the headline "Enfant du rock" ("Child of rock"). Félix Dupuis was just 18 at the time, and spent most of his time on his YouTube channel. With their new album, "Stared At From A Distance", FELDUP once again demonstrate their astonishing mastery. While their musical influences are still very much in evidence (the alternative scene of the '90s, the New York rock revival of the 2000s), Feldup has gained even more in maturity. There's no doubt that these inner hymns, this stupefying urgency and dissonance, this gripping vocal, will leave no one unmoved.
