Concert by "Basic Colors", an all-female gospel and soul quartet. Warm timbres, groove and charm, these vocalists sparkle with passion for a repertoire of Gospel, Pop & Soul covers ranging from traditional Gospel quartets of the early 20th century (Golden Gate Quartet, The Mills Brothers?) to the Modern Gospel of Kirk Franklin and his contemporary peers. The songs are arranged in four-part polyphony, sometimes a capella, sometimes accompanied by piano and percussion. A generous concert that makes you happy!
