Its presence is so naturally associated with that of humans, that we no longer really know who is who...? Lying down, sitting up, on all fours, they nonetheless deploy their ingenuous, enigmatic morphology with ease and suppleness. From then on, rabbits, bears, horses, elephants, dogs and turtles all possess a secret meaning. The look in Ruta Jusionyte?s animals? eyes is always the same, questioning and alert, like that of Tia, her magnificent border collie.. Excerpts from an article by Ileana Cornea
