Just outside Lassay-les-Châteaux, Le Château du Bois Thibault has been a listed historic monument since 1925.
The original château dates back to the second half of the 11th century. With its majestic ruins, the château was home to many families, including the famous poet Joachim Du Bellay. The Lassay Cultural Association organizes events here from time to time, including medieval meals, treasure hunts and guided tours.
