The ideal place to disconnect and get together with family or friends!
In the small village of Taurines, whose 13th-14th century castle hosts temporary exhibitions of modern art, we welcome you to the ground floor of our house surrounded by fields. The independent entrance of the gîte A Deux Pas du Château allows you to enjoy it independently. It is composed of a bright living room (TV lounge, equipped kitchen, dining room), 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and storage space, a shower room and a toilet You can also enjoy a private terrace, ideal for taking your meals or reading a good book in the sun! We like to share moments with the people we receive, notably around an aperitif that we offer on the evening of the arrival, for those who wish it. Here, we do not have internet because the place lends itself to relaxation and reconnection with nature: hiking, swimming, wildlife park ... and especially, you can attend the feeding of calves on our farm nearby! We are ideally located, halfway between Rodez and its Soulages museum, and Albi, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On the way, you will be able to contemplate the Viaur viaduct, a metallic work of the engineer Paul Baudin. To vary the pleasures, you can also discover the castle of Bosc (the residence of Toulouse-Lautrec), visit the bastide of Sauveterre de Rouergue (Most beautiful village of France, like 9 other villages in Aveyron) or enjoy our local gastronomy! Do not hesitate to contact us by phone for any information and be welcome in our house!
