LE JARDIN DE LA MAIRIE

As its name indicates, the Jardin de la Mairie is attached to the Moutiers-en-Retz town hall, located behind the building. It was laid out during the Middle Ages at the time of the priory of the Benedictine nuns of Ronceray of Angers. The first entrance, characterized by its beautiful wrought iron gate, is located in front of the tourist office and the postal agency. Another possibility, a wooden door facing the bakery is open during the opening hours of the town hall. During the summer, animations for children or intimate concerts take place in this garden.
