The chapel of Saint Simon takes its name from the Patron Saint of fishermen and bargemen.

On the edge of this levee, the Saint Simon Chapel is dedicated to the Patron Saint of fishermen and bargemen. On the façade, a plaque indicates the height of the great floods. Built in the 16th century and restored in 1775, a parchment was discovered there in 1920 mentioning that this chapel would have been blessed by the Cardinal of Richelieu in 1640. On the facade, a plaque indicates the height of the great floods: 1711, 1783, 1856 and 1866.
