CIRCUIT DE L'AUMARIN

Location : Le Bourgneuf-la-Fôret, 20km northwest of Laval on the D30. Starting point : Multipurpose hall of Le Bourgneuf-la-Fôret E N V I R O N M E N T : The Bocage, the hedge, the path... The bocage is a strong mark of the identity of the Mayenne. It is essentially composed of hedges on slopes. The hedges have always had a function of protection and isolation of spaces, regulating the path of men and animals, constituting obstacles to the divagation in the meadows and fields. Thus, many paths owe the existence of their layout to the hedge. This network of paths, often hollow in the reliefs, was threaded in numerous ramifications. A PR labeled by the Departmental Hiking Committee is an itinerary recognized for its quality (varied landscapes, limited percentage of tar and presence of natural or historical curiosities) and which satisfies the conditions of of durability, safety and respect for the environments crossed.
