CIRCUIT BOTANIQUE DU PETIT AUMARIN

Come and discover numerous plant species, sometimes rare, typical of the Mayenne bocage. Signs mark out the entire route, describing and naming the species encountered. Along the way, you can also see the old Brosses quarry, whose lime was very famous. It was notably used for the repairs of the castle of Craon in 1569. The kilns of the commune of Bourgneuf-la-Forêt had to stop their activity around 1860. A PR labeled by the Departmental Hiking Committee is an itinerary recognized for its quality (varied landscapes, limited percentage of tar and presence of natural or historical curiosities) and which meets the following conditions of durability, safety and respect for the environments crossed.
