DOMAINE DU HAUT PUISET

Perched on its ancestral hill overlooking the Loire Valley, the Domaine du Haut Puiset in Mesnil-en-Vallée, Maine et Loire, is spread over 25 hectares on the north and south banks of the river. Its terroir is distinguished to the north by its greasy schists and soils elaborated from eruptive rocks, and to the south at Ingrandes-sur-Loire, by the mist coming from the Loire River which slips among the vines allowing a climate favorable to the development of the noble rot and thus producing an exceptional sweet white wine. The Denis family's vineyard is managed in a sustainable way with grassing of the vines and working of the soil A nice range of wines is available at the domain: AOC Anjou white and red, Anjou Villages, Anjou Coteaux de la Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou, Crémant de Loire white and rosés, Sauvignon, Chardonnay. Sylvie, Gérard and Jean-Louis, offer you to taste them with a clear view on the valley. A privileged moment a few kilometers from the Loire villages of Montjean-sur-Loire and Saint-Florent-le-Vieil! Our favorite : their Anjou Coteaux de la Loire, a mellow wine with aromas of figs and quince.
