GAEC DE LA THAU

With its dairy farming (goats and cows), the GAEC de la Thau produces butter, cream, cheese, plain, flavoured or fruit-brewed yoghurts The herd has 83 dairy cows and heifers for renewal, on a surface of 102 hectares. The cows are fed the maximum amount of fodder produced on site. The GAEC de la Thau is not certified Organic Agriculture but it uses a lot of herbal products in the feed (minerals, vitamins) as well as veterinary products (cinnamon, cloves, thyme, rosemary, etc...) The GAEC de la Thau transforms its products itself. Operators prefer simple things that sometimes take more time but give a better quality than those that go fast and are very similar to industries. The products of the GAEC de la Thau are exclusively marketed via short circuits.
