The Boire Sainte Catherine, a watering place fed by the Loire during floods, is located near the village of Fossé Neuf, in Bouzillé between Saint Florent-le-Vieil and Ancenis, on the route of the Loire à Vélo. It's a 2-hectare natural site built around this stretch of water. You can picnic, fish, relax and explore the surrounding paths. Services available : - children's playground - small shelter on the north shore - a dozen tables on both shores - toilets - drink fishing Take the Loire à Vélo to reach the Petite Cité de Caractère of Saint Florent-le-Vieil or the town of Ancenis. The "boire et coteaux" hiking trail (14.7 km) starts from the Saint Catherine boire. Nearby, you can also discover impressive lime kilns, dating from the 19th century and bearing witness to the region's intense lime-making activity.
