VERGER DU CLAIRET

Situated in the commune of Hauts d'Anjou (formerly Contigné) since 1850, Clairet is first and foremost a small family farm which has seen several generations. After a succession of different uses, the estate was bought in 2011 and renamed Verger du Clairet. Converted into an organic farm, the orchard is home to varieties of apple, pear, plum and small red fruit trees, as well as a rotation of large cereal crops such as wheat and lupin. First farm to obtain the AB certification of the commune, Verger du Clairet is a human-sized farm whose values are above all respect for nature, man and animals, as well as the development of old varieties. On the farm by appointment (recommended).
