The gardens of the Château de Gastines in Fougeré, labelled Remarkable Gardens, are an eden of greenery and flowers punctuated by watery murmurs, a walk out of time.
Around the listed 16th and 18th century castle, admire a set of several gardens, moats, ponds and fountains designed by Louis Benech: roses, boxwood and lavender on the terrace, hedges of hornbeam, French garden. The garden is also open for the weekend of the gardeners and during the heritage days.
