Visites guidées d'été de l'église fortifiée

The association "les amis de Parfondeval et de ses environs" invites you to a guided tour of the fortified church of Saint Médard de Parfondeval every weekend this summer, on Saturdays and Sundays (except Sunday August 18, the day of the village flea market). The church is open daily and can also be visited freely. The village is listed as one of France's "most beautiful villages", but the local star is the church, tucked away at the far end of the square. Over-fortified, it reveals its charms only to the most adventurous. To get a closer look, you'll have to perform some strange gymnastics. The neighboring red-brick houses, topped with slate, seem to form a continuous wall.
