Self-guided and/or guided tours of the fortified church of Saint Médard in Parfondeval and the cemetery. Guided tours of the church at 2pm and 4pm. Guided tours of the cemetery at 3pm and 5pm. This village is listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", but the local star is the church, tucked away at the end of the square. Over-fortified, it reveals its charms only to the most adventurous. To get a closer look, you'll have to perform some strange gymnastics. The neighboring red-brick houses, topped with slate, seem to form a continuous wall.
