Dulci Jubilo celebrates its 10th anniversary! Created in May 2013 in Rocamadour, the ensemble directed by Christopher Gibert is honored to come and blow out these candles at the same place where it was created, with its brand new program. Le Souffle de l? me, is this current, this immaterial movement of the force which animates us, inspires us, creates. Sometimes it is a tender, unchanging breeze, sometimes it is a breath of air, an exhalation of the happy and unhappy feelings of our Being. The breath of the soul is a musical path marked by the abrasive generosity of the speech, the carnal relationship to the sound. The harmony of the sounds and the senses in the work of Thierry Escaich, put in comparison with that of Johannes Brahms and other musicians registered in this step, produces heat and density of the speech. The organ improvisations comment in the moment the emotion lived. Let yourself be carried away by this program conceived as a continuous work, playing on spaces and atmospheres. This is more than a concert, it is a global artistic proposal where the affect is at the center, where emotions arise, where the works that follow surprise us, comfort us, shake us, move us.
