Following a partially preserved medieval path, this loop of about 4 km leads to the Castle of Salm, nestled in a magnificent green setting. It was built at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries by Count Henry III of Salm (around 1205/1225) and watched over the Bruche valley until the end of the 15th century. It was destroyed during the so-called "Burgundy War" (1474 ' 1477) between the Dukes of Burgundy and Lorraine. The association "Les Veilleurs de Salm" has been working since 2004 to bring back to life these vestiges of history..
