A forest trail through the plains and foothills around Drachenbronn whose only difficulty is its length. From the parking lot, cross the D77 and climb the road following the yellow disc and "sentier forestier". At the top of the hill, you can see the giant holly tree, 5 minutes on the right following the green disc. Then go back on your steps and follow the yellow disc. Turn right in the direction of the Moulin des sept fontaines. At the next intersection, turn right. When you reach the road, follow the sign "sentier forestier" on the right. Further on, carefully cross the D65 then the D51. In Oelhmuehle, turn left. At Walkmuehle, follow the yellow disc on the left OR go straight ahead on an unmarked path until you reach the D65. Cross the D65, follow it to the right and turn left onto the path just before the brewery. At the intersection, follow the yellow disc to the right. Go straight ahead at the next intersection and continue to Birlenbach. Turn left into the school street and right into the main street. Turn left twice to the castle of Birlenbach (Catharinenbourg, destroyed castle). Turn right at the blockhouse, then left on the gravel road. Cross Bremmelbach, leave Bremmelbach and take the first left. Follow the yellow disc to the D777 and cross it. Continue straight ahead until you reach Cleebourg. Turn left in front of the church and walk along the main street before turning right into Wolf Street. Follow the road and then the forest path to the parking lot.
