Built in 1774 in Barbentane, this is the last preserved windmill on the 'Coste'. The work of Pierre Deurrieu and Louis Berlandier, nicknamed 'Bretoule', it embodies the region's milling history, captivating visitors from a private estate.

Louis Berlandier made the Bretoule Mill built in 1845 on the northwest ridge of the Montagnette. It was one of the six windmills located on the Chemin de la Côte, a very windy place. When the mill operating in the 20th century, the wings were stalled for safety reasons. The roof (different from the original) and wings have been renovated but it is no longer functional. It is located not far from the Tower Anglica, enshrined in the pines. Private property.
