Discover the iron museum. This is one of the world?s largest collections, comprising 5,000 items and retracing the history of irons from their origins to the present day: the evolution of the iron over the centuries, the different types of iron, the materials used in their manufacture, their uses, ironing-related trades and heating methods. Real curiosities and rarities are revealed. The collection of irons is complemented by a magnificent collection of furnaces. Guided tours on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2pm by prior arrangement for individuals (with a minimum of 4 paying guests), and all year round by prior arrangement (one week in advance) for individuals (with a minimum of 4 paying guests on weekdays and 10 paying guests at weekends) and groups. Rates: ?3.50/person, ?3/person (CNAS reduced rate and group rate), free for children under 12 and Tourist Office members.
