Take a 45-minute guided tour of the iron museum. This is one of the world?s largest collections, comprising 5,000 items and retracing the history of irons from their origins to the present day: the evolution of the iron over the centuries, the different types of iron, the materials used in their manufacture, as well as their uses, ironing-related trades and heating methods. Real curiosities and rarities are revealed. The collection of irons is complemented by a magnificent collection of furnaces. Guided tours on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2pm by prior arrangement for individuals with a minimum of 4 paying guests, and all year round by prior arrangement (one week in advance) for individuals (with a minimum of 4 paying guests on weekdays and 10 paying guests on weekends) and groups. Rates: ?3.50/person, ?3/person (CNAS reduced rate and group rate), free for children under 12 and Tourist Office members.
