It was the suburb of the winegrowers and peasants of Mirecourt, almost all the houses had wide cellar entrances on the street side where the grape harvest entered and the barrels came out. On the facade of n° 23 is the statue of the saint with a bunch of grapes deposited at the time of the grape harvest. The facade of most of the houses was rebuilt in the 18th century but several of them contain beautiful French ceilings that were dated to the Renaissance. Unfortunately some of the houses are abandoned and deteriorate very quickly. At the top of the suburb, a large house was built to accommodate young violin makers. A little further on, we arrive at the chapel of the Oultre. Text AVMR Jean Paul Rothiot
