Situated on a promontory, the remains of the castle overlook the towns of Frouard and Pompey, offering an exceptional panorama of the Meurthe and Moselle rivers. Although few traces of the castle remain (round tower, square tower, curtain walls and foundation bases), the site has recently been landscaped to give visitors an idea of its structure and scale. The Fortress site is an open-access area for discovery and walking.
