ORGUE DE L'EGLISE SAINT JEAN BAPTISTE DE FROUARD

France > Grand Est > Meurthe-et-Moselle > 54390 > Frouard > 60 rue Haute

The organ, located in the gallery above the entrance, was built in 1836 by the organ builder Jean-Frédéric VERSCHNEIDER. The organ case is characteristic of Jean-Frédéric VERSCHNEIDER's work, but it has been deeply mutilated by Didier. The organ stop "Voix Humaine" was added by CALLINET in 1841. The listed church with its gothic nave dates from 1534, the choir from 1832, the last western bay and the bell tower from 1833. Restoration work will be postponed until the interior of the church has been completed.
