SQUARE JULES DORGET

France > Grand Est > Meurthe-et-Moselle > 54000 > Nancy > 31 rue Jules Dorget

The Jules Dorget square, a 3,500 m² space created in 2009, is named after Emile Gallé's gardener. It is located on the former industrial site of the electrical construction industry in Nancy, which has been converted into a residential area. Linked to the urban landscape, the Ecole de Nancy style that it displays is present even in the shrub scenes, with the creations of the famous horticulturists from Lorraine, Victor Lemoine, François Félix Crousse and Léon Simon. The grid of the Art Nouveau style square is the former grid of the garden city of Saurupt park.
