ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE

France > Grand Est > Moselle > 57140 > Norroy-le-Veneur > 22 Grand'rue

In Norroy le Veneur, the Saint-Pierre church is part church, part castle. Built between the 12th and 17th centuries, it was part of the fortress, and its massive bell tower was even a key component of the defensive system. The church itself has three naves, lit by small Romanesque windows and stained glass dating from the 16th to 20th centuries. The crypt has been a listed monument since 1930, and the whole building since 1983. Visits on request from the Town Hall.
