PARC DE LOISIRS ET DE DÉTENTE DE BRIEUX

Located to the east of the town, the Parc de loisirs et de détente de Brieux is a natural area open to the public all year round. The park covers an area of 50 ha and includes 7 ponds where fishing enthusiasts can indulge their passion. To obtain a fishing permit, you need to go to the park warden's residence (31 avenue de Brieux), with proof of address and identification. There are five price levels, depending on where you live and your age (annual or daily pass). The ponds are planted mainly with white willow, black poplar, weeping willow and dogwood. Leisure facilities include a beach volleyball and basketball court, a skate park, a fitness trail and ping-pong tables. A picnic area is located in the center of the park. Numerous hiking and biking trails are available, as well as an educational trail dedicated to the geology of northeastern France. For several years now, the municipal team has been committed to making the site accessible to people with disabilities: choice of adapted materials, passable paths, modified play areas accessible to children up to 10-12 years of age. But also the laying of asphalt from the start of the rue des prés to the fitness trail.
