CIRCUIT LES CHARMILLES

An undulating rural trail through fields and forests in the Hautmougey municipality. Most of the trail is on forest or gravel paths. After a short stretch of road, the trail enters the 100-hectare communal forest, with its exceptional variety of oaks. Red ring markings all along the route Start: Place de la mairie de Hautmougey Opposite the town hall, turn left twice into rue de l'école and rue des marronniers uphill. Continue straight ahead and turn left at the yield sign, following the red ring road markings. Continue into the forest, forking off to the left. When you come to two paths, turn left until you come to a track where you turn right. Go straight on for 250m and take the second left onto a path through the forest. Follow this slightly downhill path. Then take the first left onto a gravel path which descends in a straight line. When you reach the road, turn right to join the main road, which you cross to reach the Chemin des Dagneaux. Follow the road downhill and turn left towards the church, back to the starting point.
